Dr. Jay Hoss (legal name: Jamshid Hosseini Chaleshtari) is the CEO at U.S. Global Connect, LLC (USGC) which includes Jade Lotus Lierary Agency (JLLA), the Asian author facing arm of USGC. He is an emeritus professor of Management at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an MBA, and a doctorate in Systems Science from Portland State University, USA.
During his academic career, Dr. Hosseini served as Chair of the Management Department and later as Director of International Business Studies, where he was involved in curriculum development, international program design, and global academic partnerships. His funded projects and consulting work have included initiatives in higher education, healthcare systems, public utilities, and market research.
Dr. Hosseini has published numerous articles book chapter and conference proceedings continues to work in scientific circles. He has also engaged in editorial work throughout his career and is currently associate editor for the Journal of Science and Technology Policy international education and cross-border advisory roles.
Through his work with USGC he focuses on international and cross-cultural educational services and. More recently publishing agency activities, introducting of Westeren authors to Asian publishers and Asian literary authors to English-language markets. His approach emphasizes editorial integrity, cultural context, and long-term professional relationships between authors, translators, and publishers.
Ms. Hien Le (Legal name, Le Thi Thu Hien) is an independent Regional Representative, Asia-Pacific at US Global Connect, LLC (USGC) and Jade Lotus Literary Agency (JLLA), a registered trade name under USGC. She is a finance and risk management professional with more than twenty years of experience across banking, advisory, and enterprise governance in Vietnam and New Zealand. Her background includes investment fund management, financial advisory work at KPMG Vietnam, and leadership of Basel II implementation at OCB Bank, supporting alignment with international risk management standards.
After relocating to New Zealand, she worked with ICBC, Kiwibank, and ASB Bank, focusing on capital, market, and liquidity risk within international banking environments. She currently serves as Director of Advisory & Training Services at ARFQuant, advising organizations on enterprise risk management and leadership development. Hien Le is the author of Làm Bạn Với Rủi Ro – Bí Quyết Vượt Sóng Cho Doanh Nghiệp (Making Friends with Risk). She holds degrees in corporate finance and financial mathematics–actuarial science and is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
