Asian Literary Authors

If you are an Asian author — particularly from Vietnam or broader Southeast Asia — and your work has been published in your home country but has not yet appeared in English, USGC and Jade Lotus Literary Agency (JLLA) may be the right partner for you.
JLLA represents Asian authors exclusively for English-language publication outside their home country. We do not interfere with existing domestic publishing arrangements and do not require exclusivity for your home market.
With a Current Focus on Vietnam and Broader Asia
Vietnam’s literary culture is rich, its publishing infrastructure is established, and demand among Western publishers for authentic Asian voices is growing. Yet the pipeline between Vietnamese authors and English-language publication remains thin. JLLA was built specifically to close that gap. Our team is bilingual, our submission process is designed for authors who do not read English, and our understanding of the Vietnamese publishing landscape is grounded in direct relationships with publishers, authors, and cultural institutions.
